Covid-19 Continuing Safely

06.11.20

Since March we have been working to provide the safest possible site environments for all of our; staff, supply chain partners, clients, and visitors with the complications presented by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

With the continued hard work of the Ashe staff and our supply chain partners, and the understanding and flexibility of our clients, we have been able to develop and implement covid-safe procedures across our sites and offices to best protect anyone effected by our works.

As we head in to a second national lockdown we are maintaining our strict and meticulous covid compliance standards, at all of our sites and our head office in Hitchin, to allow work to continue in a safe and productive environment. Ultimately, we believe through the efficient and stringent measures, we have kept in place at our construction sites since March, that we are prepared and organised to ensure we advance with a safe and effective approach.

We are regularly reviewing our processes in line with the latest government and Construction Leadership Councils (CLC) Site Operational Procedures, and continuing to share our best practice processes with each of our sites and supply chain partners through our email campaigns and social media channels.

On top of our existing covid operational procedures we are introducing a number of further initiatives which include:

  • We have purchased a number of heavy duty marquees to provide additional socially distant spaces at our suitable sites.
  • Where possible our staff will be working from home, with our core staff, operating out of our head office.
  • We are introducing new safety measures for the staff operating in our office, such as; restrictions on visitors, and the requirement for face coverings to be worn by all when not at socially distant work stations.

We have produced a guidance video to reassure anyone attending our sites of the rigorous safety procedures we have implemented in order to help reduce the spread of the Covid-19.

We will continue to work collaboratively with our partners to ensure successful outcomes for all.

Take care and stay safe.
