Our division has seen a remarkable increase in the number of projects, so the future has many opportunities for everyone in the team.

I’ve been with Ashe for five years and every day is different. I work with people at every level, and many have gone from colleagues to friends.

Starting as a site manager, I’ve been promoted to project manager and one of the great things about Ashe is that the company guides you to develop and flourish. I’m mentored and monitored and given freedom to improve my skills in areas like estimating, surveying and pricing, and it’s good to see the results of training leading to increased profits for the business.

They’ve allowed me to explore different options for the future. I’ve become a mental health first aider which has been valuable in helping several members of my team over the past year.  There’s a real feeling that it’s a family run business and a strong connection between everyone from apprentice to director.

Internal development from construction qualifications to on-site knowledge is put in place very quickly with frequent one-to-ones with line managers.

It’s a unique and fantastic place to work and everyone is equal and part of a big family.
