I get a great sense of achievement when we hit a deadline and see the look of gratitude (and sometimes disbelief!) in the clients’ eyes.

I started working for Ashe over 20 years ago as a decorator, then started managing some smaller jobs before moving to main works. Ashe has supported me to achieve my ACIOB and my MCIOB, during this time I have risen through the ranks to my current position as project manager.

Hand on heart, I have always provided the best service to our clients in terms of my commitment to the quality and delivery of the buildings that will be here far beyond my years. This has generated repeat business and happy clients so is very gratifying.

It’s a very sociable job. There is an ongoing line of communication throughout projects that has you interacting with a colourful array of characters and nationalities during the day.

I would like to think that we can improve on our diversity by actively seeking to employ those from our multicultural society to show our clients our commitment to inclusivity regardless of race, gender or pronouns.
