NVQ 3 Occupational Work Supervision

8 years

Andrew managed Ashe’s highest valued construction project to date at Park Place Plaza in Stevenage. This scheme which was situated within a busy town centre location presented a number of challenges for Andy and his site teams. Andy received the LABC Residential Construction Professional of the Year Award at the 2019 Central Region Awards. Controlling a workforce that peaked at over 150, health & safety and logistics planning, coupled with good neighbour policies were of paramount importance. Andy’s positive approach to construction ultimately ensures the success of each project he works on and his friendly personality secures excellent relationships with the project teams involved.

  • Roles & Responsibilities

Andrew will be in full control of the construction site on a daily basis. He will control and direct his on site construction team, liaising with the client’s project manager on a daily basis. He will keep in constant communication with his designers and other members of the Ashe team to ensure he has the latest up to date construction information. He will liaise as required with statutory bodies to ensure project compliance at all levels.

  • Memorable Achievement

Following the completion of Ashe’s highest valued project involving the £25m redevelopment of 202 apartments I won the regional LABC Residential Construction Professional of the Year award for 2019.
