14 years

Ross is a dedicated individual who works excellently as part of a team or leading. One of Ross’ key strengths is being able to effectively prioritise tasks and individuals to ensure deadlines are met and projects are successful for both Ashe and the client. Ross excels in a demanding environment which is why he heads our strategic partnerships division.

  • Roles & Responsibilities

Ross will attend initial meetings with other Ashe team members, the design team, the client, and end-users to identify the client’s key drivers (Customer alignment). He will produce ongoing estimates for the works; working closely with contract and operations managers to compile risk registers and mitigation plans for each project. Ross will supply updated cost information throughout the project duration, firming up the risk register as each project proceeds and pricing of variations to enable the client team to make appropriately timed decisions. Monthly valuations will be produced with fully detailed back up information. Final Account predictions will also be produced at this time to give full visibility of out turn costs to the client’s project manager and his team ensuring a project delivered within the client’s financial expectations with “No Surprises”.

  • Memorable Achievement

I am very fortunate in being able to combine all the things I love most. They are my family and friends, the industry greatly excites me and being able to help others to do the same is an achievement for me.

Career Highlights

One of the most enjoyable aspects of my jobs is the wider work me and my team do with regards to Social Value. This is a key KPI on the schemes I am involved in and we have done a lot of good work in this area. Social value isn’t a one size fits all solution and in my experience different clients have different wants and needs in this regard. The enjoyment me and my team get is identifying solutions and working alongside clients to contribute to the community. Last year, we contributed a defibrillator to a public building in the town centre and donated to local foodbanks. We have purchased artwork for display in a healthcare scheme we completed, sponsored local football teams and have completed many hours volunteering and mentoring at Colleges.
