The works comprise two storey buildings to accommodate a new Café / Restaurant and a Water Sports Centre building with reception / admin, changing, storage, public toilets, teaching space and ancillary 2 bed apartment and jetty, together with the extension and upgrading of the childrens’ play area, footpath system and hard and soft landscape.
The facilities provide a much needed home for the water sports team, whilst providing plenty of storage for their equipment, and changing facilities for their customers. Footfall to the new centre has exceeded all expectations and additional facilities for the site are planned shortly.
For those wishing a more relaxing experience the other main attraction on site is the Benugo Bar and Kitchen where customers can pop in for a quick sandwich, or enjoy a more substantial meal with drinks in the first floor restaurant that extends out onto an open air, glass fronted deck with excellent lakeside views.
To top it off theirs a warden flat, park offices, a classroom/meeting room, and toilet facilities available for all park users.
